REP Records is an independent Recording label dedicated to new artist development in the  Christian music genre, REP Records plans a collaborative effort focused on the singles market.
We are working under a nano release concept. Consumers have become intolerant of $12 to $20 CDs that typically contain only one or two good tracks. With the advent of downloadable content websites such as napster, iTunes, Zune, Rhapsody, emusic, and amazonmp3 it is no longer necessary to purchase entire albums. Instead, we can easily download the good single(s) for a few dollars and go happily on our way. So, why release anything other than really strong singles? This is the nano release concept.
With this in mind, we have joined forces with the undercurrent of ingenious indie Producers and Mixers that are creating remarkable work using software like Reason, Acid and ProTools.
We can pair an artist or group with a highly talented production team and output a truly competitive product. A methodology of this type offers a recording opportunity to gifted artists out there that the major labels overlook.
REP plans to establish relationships with downloadable music distributors as a content provider. Their strategy involves launching singles into the market driven by broadcast quality music videos on YouTube and GodTube. With an already proven history in TV production for clientele including MTV, VH1, CMT and BET, REP is accustomed to high caliber production value and anticipates a significant impact on the marketplace.
