The Making of the Music Video

The making of the music video for Sing, Sing, Sing was definitely the most stretching and the most fun for me!  I am generally not the kind of person who cherishes having a camera two inches from my face while I am singing. But, the music video project became such an enjoyable learning experience for me.

The first day of shooting…we set up on the Producer’s back porch overlooking our little city. It was absolutely beautiful to watch the sunset that night while we were filming. The neighbors were all so incredibly gracious…even though they had to listen to the song blaring for about an hour and a half. 

I can remember being so tired though when the filming was over…I didn’t realize how much energy it took to sing a song over and over and over!
        
One of my favorite filming days was the day we went out to a Christian Resort and filmed several shots on location.

We filmed on top of a hill overlooking the river, in an outdoor chapel. It has a beautiful cross…one that made a very stunning backdrop for the video.           

Really throughout the whole video you will see the theme of the crosses and the churches. You can see it at the outdoor chapel, the small little chapel and at our church.  I love the fact that they were able to incorporate that into the video….because that is what this is all about. Jesus and His love for us!

One of the greatest joys in this project for me has been having my family so involved. My Dad helped with the filming (He is a Professional Photographer) My Mom helped with the photography as well as many other things and my younger sister danced beside me at the end of the video!!!!  That was definitely a highlight for me. Of course, it wouldn’t be right not to mention my precious Uncle Mark who was in town during the filming and who faithfully held the flex fill so that I would have a rosy glow. I was rosy alright…for about two weeks after that!!!

All in all we had an incredible time and God really showed Himself Faithful as always!!!!!
